Maintaining Polyurethane Floors

In general the best way to maintain a polyurethane finished hardwood floor is to keep the floor free from dust and moisture and to clean it often.

Add a small cap or spoonful of a mild cleaner such as dishwashing soap or a wood floor cleaner to clean water. It is recommended that you have your hardwood floors deep cleaned at least twice a year while applying a new coat of polyurethane at least once.
